Most of us are freedivers. Freediving means holding your breath underwater. By challenging yourself physically and mentally to find inner peace, we experience the ocean in its most natural way. That feeling of freedom under water, makes freediving one of the most growing activities around the world.
When we freedive, we are making use of one of human’s most amazing physical adaptations- the Mammal Diving Reflex. When we submerge in water, our body adapts to the breath-hold and surrounding environment in the same way it does with other marine mammals such as seals and whales.
Palawan Freedivers is a freediving school in El Nido, North Palawan, known as the Philippines last Frontier. The school was founded by Palawan Divers with more than 10 years of experience and one of the pioneer diving school in the area. Surrounded by thousand of islands and nice coral reefs, it's a great freediving spot in the region.
We recommend freediving as one of the best ways to discover the unbelievable marine diversity in Palawan and Philippines.
